How Do We Collect Your Information?

There are various ways we may collect information about you. Generally, we collect information directly from you, though there are some third parties who may provide us with information with your permission, and we also collect some information automatically when you use our Services. Below are some examples of the ways in which we may obtain information:

• From your sign ups and logins to Wooga games or other accounts operated by Wooga;
• From gameplay or your other activities on our Service (for example, the length of sessions, progress, and other game events);
• From integrations with social media and other platforms' accounts (such as Facebook, Apple);
• From advertisers whose adverts you visit;
• From contact lists that you or your friends share with us;
• From payment providers (to process in-game purchases);
• From interactions with Wooga (including our account managers and customer service);
• From in-game chat with other players;
• From attendance at our Events or other player activities; and
• From marketing activities, such as surveys, focus groups, and sweepstakes.

What Information Do We Collect?

The information that we collect depends on how you use and interact with Wooga. When you use our Services, we may collect and process information such as:

• Your first and last name;
• Your Wooga game username(s);
• Your email address;
• Your phone number;
• The password you use to create your Wooga account;
• Your Profile Photo (if you choose to provide one);
• Biographical details that you provide to us, such as your gender, birthday, and/or age;
• The approximate location you access our Services from;
• Details about the device you access our Services from, such as your IP address and device type;
• Your rewards program account activity, points, progression, and status, where applicable;
• Information you provide to help us confirm your identity and make sure it is you accessing your account;
• Information you share directly with us, such as in response to a survey or ticket submitted to our support team; and
• Information collected via your gameplay, for example information about how often and when you play, participation in forums, interactions with other players, and invitations to non-players to our Services.

We may also receive some information from third parties who share your information with us, including:

• Third parties (for example, Facebook, Google, or Apple), who connect to our games for log-in services or sharing of your achievements, such as your ID number for the platform, your friends list, your first and last name, your profile picture and URL, your gender, birthday and/or age, email used to log in to the third-party service, and any other information that you or the third party share with Wooga. If you are unsure what information a third party is sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies/notices and your account settings;
• Third-party platforms with in-app purchasing services (for example, Apple and Google) to enable us to process your payment for purchases, for example, details of what you purchased and when. If you are unsure what information a third party is collecting and sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies/notices and your account settings. For further details about payments, please see our payment terms within our Terms of Service;
• Third-party platforms that provide us with payment services (for example, Braintree, PayPal, or Adyen) to enable us to process your payment for purchases, for example, details of what you purchased and when. In some instances, we may also receive additional information provided at the point of purchase. If you are unsure what information a third party is sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies/notices and your account settings. • Third-party cookie and advertising information about your device, browser, and/or activities, such as the type of device you are using, your device’s operating system and version, your browser type, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks on a page or feature, pages viewed and their order, and the amount of time spent on particular pages. We might connect this information with other information we have about you, in particular with your social network ID and/or Wooga User ID;
• We may receive your information if it is shared by your friends or family in order to invite you to our Services. Your friends and family are responsible for obtaining your permission before they share your information with us.

Wooga periodically operates in-person and/or online events or other activities or initiatives ("Events"). These Events are exclusive and invite-only. If you register and/or attend an Event organised by us, we may also collect information such as:

• Contact information, such as physical address, email address, phone number;
• Photos and/or videos of you taken during the course of the Event;
• Information about your attendance at the Event;
• Information about the gameplay that you participate in at the Event;
• Information you share with Account Managers and other Wooga members of staff; and
• Other information required to facilitate the Event.

Why Do We Collect Information? What Do We Do with It?

We collect information for various purposes, including to creating your account, facilitating and personalizing your gameplay experience, enabling in-game purchases, and providing technical support. We also collect information to allow you to connect and communicate with friends on our app, tailor advertising to your interests, and to operate, improve, and optimize our Services, Events, and marketing activities. Below you can find further details on some of those purposes.

Wooga will only collect and use your information when the law permits. There are different lawful bases for us to collect and use information, depending on the laws that apply to you based on where you live and use Wooga Services from. The most common lawful bases that we rely on to collect and use information are where:

• You have given us your consent;
• It is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you;
• It is necessary for our or a third party's legitimate interest that is not overridden by your fundamental rights; or
• It is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Account Registration and Maintenance

We may use information to set up and register an account in our games or sign-in to create an account with different methods. We may also use information to manage your account, such as securing your account, verifying your identity, and enabling its functionality.

Account information (including both social media integration and accounts directly with Wooga) is also used to maintain the security and cross-platform and/or devices use of our Services.

Gameplay

We use information to enable us to optimize and provide our games to you. This includes using information about your gameplay and purchases to tailor our games to you, which may be in the form of in-game gifts, promotions, and features in the game. We use those parameters because we believe they play a significant role in determining (for example) your level of engagement with our games. We also use your information in aggregate with other users who have similar backgrounds or gameplay. This is to ensure that all players are having an enjoyable and optimal experience.

We also use your information to track your progress and may share it with third parties so that we and/or they can provide you with rewards and incentives that are relevant and of interest to you and your gameplay.

In-Game Purchases

We use information about payments made through our payment processors to process your payment and credit your account with virtual items that you have purchased.

Customer Support and Account Management

We may use information to provide support to you directly, or to assist with more general support deployed across the Service, such as bug fixes. If you provide us with information via a service ticket, our support team will use this to assist you.

We may also use information about your account to enhance your experience with Wooga, including allocating you an Account Manager. Account Managers may use information that you provide to assist with business management, including taking your feedback on Wooga games, new features, and your gameplay experience. They may also use this information to invite you to Events.

Social Features and Chat Functions

Some of our games have social features and chat functions. We may process information to enable these functions and enable you to connect with your family and friends. Some of the information we collect or process may be provided by third-party platforms, such as Facebook. For more details about how your social media information is shared, please visit your social media profile setting, and consult the platform's privacy policy.

Advertising

We may use information to assist with integrating advertising into our games that feature adverts. We may also share your information with third parties, such as our advertising partners, to assist with the functionality and targeting of adverts. Further details about how we use your information for advertising is available in the Advertising and Marketing section of this Notice.

Events

Any information collected at our Events may be used to assist us with the planning of future Events, our promotional activities, or your account manager's interactions with you.

Business Management

We may use information about you and your gameplay to assist with our business management and planning. For example, this gives us indications of how users interact with our Service and how Wooga can develop and improve our games and marketing activities.

Information That Is Available to Other Users

You may choose to disclose information about yourself when using our Services when contributing to or accessing chat rooms, blogs, message boards, player profiles, or similar functionalities. Some of these features may also include integration with third-party sites or services to enable you to communicate with other players (such as via private message or email).

Any information you provide via these features, including photos and videos, may potentially be accessed, read, watched, collected, and used by Wooga and our users. Wooga is not responsible for any of the information that you choose to make public or share in your account. Please see our Terms of Service for guidance and information about posting content through our Service.

To enable some of the social features of our Service, you may be able to import or manually enter information about your friends and family, so that you can connect with them on our Services or invite them to use the Services.

Some social features available when you play, register, or log-in via a social media account, may share details of your Wooga activity like gameplay, name, and profile photo with your social media account connections or friends. Similarly, if you use our Service in response to an invitation from another player via social media, that player may see information about you and your gameplay, such as when you joined and the levels you have achieved.

In many of the Wooga games, other players of the game may be able to see details about your gameplay, communicate with you, and access your user profile and the information that is available on it. Other players may be able to send you game requests or social media account requests, if you choose to integrate any of your social media accounts and/or Wooga communication channels.

Third-Party Service Providers and Business Partners

Wooga uses unaffiliated companies to support the Service we provide, for example, to assist us with processing payments, analysing information, optimizing gameplay and enhancing player experience, email delivery, hosting services, event services, security services, and managing and delivering contextual and tailored advertisements.

Sale or Merger

In the event that Wooga or our affiliated companies, including our ultimate parent company Playtika Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries, seek or undergo restructuring of any kind, including the sale, purchase, merger with and/or acquisition by another company, of any Wooga asset, we may disclose relevant information we have to the other organizations involved in the transition. We will make reasonable efforts to let you know if this occurs and how it impacts your information to the extent required by law.

Publicity and Market Analytics

We may also publish aggregated and analytical information (information about you and other players collectively that is not intended to specifically identify any individual player, for example, players between the ages of 25 and 50 who live in the USA) and other anonymized information about our players. We do this to allow for industry analysis, demographic profiling, marketing, analytics, advertising, and other business purposes.

Legal Obligations and Compliance

 We may share information to satisfy our legal obligations and comply with law enforcement.

Examples of when we may share information include:

• When we decide to disclose information in good faith in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, or legal process (for example, a court order, search warrant, or subpoena);
• To satisfy any laws, regulations, or mandatory codes of conduct that require us to disclose details about the information we collect;
• Where we have reason to believe that our Service is being used to commit a crime, we may share your information in pursuit of reporting and investigating the suspected criminal activity, or to share further details with other companies and organizations for the prevention, reporting, or investigation of suspected criminal activity. This may also include efforts to prevent fraud, to assist with credit risk reduction, and other security precautions. This disclosure will be at our sole discretion;
• When we have reason to believe that there is an emergency that poses a threat to the health and/or safety of any person, including our users, employees, or the general public. This disclosure will be at our sole discretion;
• To protect the rights or property of Wooga and other third parties, including to enforce our Terms of Service.

Advertising

To assist with the functionality of and personalise the adverts you see on our Service, as well as run, measure, and optimize our own marketing campaigns and undertake performance analytics, our advertising partners may collect (or we may share with them) the following types of information:

• Advert performance information (such as the number of clicks on an advert);
• Aggregated/de-identified information about players intended to help target adverts but not to directly identify individuals (for example, that a player is between the ages of 45 and 65 and lives in Miami);
• Technical information about the device used, such as IP addresses, IDFAs, GAIDs, and other device identifiers;
• Gameplay activity and game events, such as your level within a game and purchases made; and
• Your social media identifiers.

Some of the information may be collected via cookies and other tracking technology. Our advertisers may use multiple forms of tracking technology at the same time. We recommend that you also review our advertising partners’ privacy policies for more information. A list of our advertising partners and their privacy policies can be found here.

If you click on an advert, you may be redirected to a third-party app or website, which may not be hosted on a site or app owned or operated by Wooga. If you are playing via a third-party platform, such as a social media platform, clicking on an advert may redirect you to a third-party platform which is no longer hosted by the social media provider or Wooga.

Opting Out of Emails and Push Notifications

If you wish to opt out of promotional or marketing communications from Wooga, you can do so by:

• Clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email from a specific Wooga Service to change and update your contact preferences for emails from us. Please note that we may still contact you via email in relation to your account, for example for password resets or other account management;

If you wish to opt out of push notifications from Wooga, you can do so by:

• Changing the settings within your social media platforms to turn off notifications from Wooga via these platforms. For example, by turning off notifications from Wooga on Facebook; and
• Changing the settings on your device and/or browser to turn off push notifications from our Service. In some of our apps, we also have the option to disable push notifications in the in-game settings.

Opting Out of Tailored Advertising

Depending on where you live and access our Services from, you may have a right in relation to opting out of tailored third-party advertising. In such cases, if you wish to opt out of tailored third-party advertising, you can disable these tailored adverts in the settings of our apps .

You may also opt out of tailored advertising by adjusting the advertising tracking settings on your device(s). This can be done by resetting the advertising identifier on your device (such as the IDFA), or you may be able to download apps, such as the Digital Advertising Alliance’s AppChoices app, that may assist you in controlling the collection and use of cross-app information for tailored advertising.

Third-party opt-out tools, such as the AppChoices app, are independently operated and owned. Wooga does not control, operate, or endorse these tools or the choices that advertisers and others provide through these tools. They are listed here only as a convenience for players.

Wooga does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals on any of the platforms that run our Services.

Please note that you may still receive advertisements from Wooga (and third parties within Wooga’s games), even if you opt out of tailored advertising. However, these ads will not be tailored to you.

International Transfers 

Wooga may send, access, use, and/or store information outside of the country or region where you live, including, for example, to the United States and Israel. We may transfer information to our affiliated companies, vendors, business partners, and others as described in this Privacy Notice.

Laws vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so the data protection and privacy laws applicable to the places where information is transferred to, stored, used, or processed in, may be different from the laws in place where you live. When we transfer information outside of the location where it was collected, we put into place appropriate safeguards or otherwise make efforts to ensure that such transfers meet applicable local legal requirements. Information Retention   

We may retain information for as long as you use our Service and as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as necessary to comply with our legitimate business purposes and applicable laws; to comply with any legal, accounting, or reporting obligations; to resolve disputes; to protect our assets; to efficiently run our business; and to enforce our agreements.

Information security

Wooga takes reasonable steps designed to protect your information, including implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a risk-appropriate level of security.

Leaving Wooga Services via Links to Other Sites/Apps

Our Service may include links to other websites and/or applications that are owned and/or operated by others.

Any information you provide to services not owned or operated by Wooga will be subject to the privacy policy on the website or app you have traveled to, and we are not responsible for the content, privacy policy, terms of use, or security practices of the external site and/or app. You should review the terms and privacy policy of any site or app that you access.

Updates to This Privacy Notice

We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Notice from time to time, and encourage you to consult the Wooga Privacy Notice regularly for changes.

If we make any material changes to our Privacy Notice, we will let you know in an appropriate way. We may supplement this process by placing notices on game blogs, social network pages and/or forums, and on other Wooga websites. However, we recommend that you periodically check www.wooga.com and this Privacy Notice for updates.

Additional disclosures for California residents

The following disclosures supplement other disclosures in this Privacy Notice with additional information to which California residents are entitled under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The following chart describes the CCPA categories of information Wooga has collected, disclosed, shared, or sold in the past 12 months.

Wooga does not sell or share for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising the information of consumers under 16 years of age. We may de-identify information for analytics and advertising purposes, in which case we will not attempt to re-identify the information.

Notice of Financial Incentive. We offer incentives, including a rewards program that provides perks such as rewards and exclusive offers, along with other programs like sweepstakes or contests. For these programs, we may collect your name and contact information, as well as information about your use of the Services. We may disclose, sell, or share this information as described above. These incentives or programs may be considered a “financial incentive” or “bona fide loyalty program” under U.S. state privacy laws.

If we are required by law to assign value to the information we obtain through such programs, we would base this value on the potential value of sharing future offers tailored to your interests. The value may vary depending on the categories of information collected and the product being offered or promoted.

Participation in any incentive program is voluntary, and by signing up for one, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in connection with the program. If you later wish to withdraw your consent, you can do so by contacting us, or otherwise following the instructions set forth in the specific program’s terms and conditions, if applicable.

Please note that if you choose to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or the use of your information for targeted advertising, your participation in our programs will not be affected, and you will continue to receive all the benefits to which you are entitled. However, if you request to delete all of your information, we will no longer be able to provide you any program benefits, as we will have no way to associate you with the benefits which you are entitled or to contact you about them.

Cookies and Similar Technology

A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your device for record-keeping purposes. Information contained in a cookie may be linked to information like your browsing activity. We may place cookies on your device and use them for purposes such as improving the quality of our Service, making our Service easier to use, and serving targeted ads. Third-party advertisers and service providers may also use, place, or read cookies or other technologies on your device as described below, and those practices are subject to their own policies.

There are two types of cookies: Essential Cookies and Non-Essential Cookies. We use Essential Cookies to distinguish you from other users of our Wooga website and to operate our website properly.

You can block all cookies, including essential cookies, by setting up your web browsers or utilizing third-party plugins to warn you about attempts to place cookies on your device or limit the type of cookies you allow to be placed on your device.

On Wooga websites that use cookies, you can customize your cookie settings and consents via the cookie banner on your first visit to the website, or by clicking on the “Cookies Settings” link in the webpage footer or the cookie widget to change your preferences anytime.

Please note that if you disable cookies, you may lose some of the features and functionality of our Service. Wooga does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, whether that signal is received on a computer or on a mobile device.

We may also use similar technologies, including:

• Web beacons, which may allow us to know if a certain page was visited or whether an email was opened;
• Ad identifiers, such as the Android and Apple advertising IDs (GAID and IDFA), which are connected to your device and can be reset on your device;
• Tracking pixels, which may allow us or our advertising partners to advertise more efficiently and effectively by recognizing your device(s) on, off, and across different services and devices, and identifying the source of a new installation; and
• Local shared objects, also known as flash cookies, which may help us to reduce fraud, remember your in-game preferences, and speed up load times.

We may use Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights, and/or other similar services from third parties that collect information about your behavior and demographics. We may use Flash cookies, which operate differently than browser cookies. To learn more about and manage Flash cookies, you can visit the Adobe website and make changes via the Global Privacy Settings Panel.

Artificial Intelligence

We may use technologies that (a) may be considered automated decision-making or profiling, and/or (b) include the processing of information as part of the training, testing, and use of Artificial Intelligence (technology which mimics intelligent human behavior) to evaluate information that we collect (including, for example, in-game activity and communications within our Service) to improve our Service. For example, to facilitate customer support processes, conduct surveys, tailor our Service to your preferences, and for other legitimate business purposes.

The laws in certain countries give individuals rights in relation to their information. These rights and how to exercise them in relation to Wooga's Service are explained in further detail below. Please note that not all countries give you the same rights in relation to your information. There are also times when we have the right to refuse your requests.

Depending on where you reside, users may have the following rights:

• You may have the right to know what information we hold about you and to request copies of it.
• Additionally, residents of the state of California also have the right to know the categories of information we have collected about them, the categories of sources from which the information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing information, and the categories of third parties to whom the business has disclosed their information.

• You may have the right to complain to the competent authority in your jurisdiction about how we process your information.
• Residents of certain U.S. states have the right to appeal any decisions we make regarding their information, and if they are not satisfied with our response, they may appeal to their state’s attorney general.

• If any of the information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, you may have the right to ask us to correct it.
• Erasure or Deletion
• In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request that we delete the information we hold about you.
• Object to Processing
• In certain circumstances, you may have the right to object to the processing of your information.
• Residents of certain U.S. states may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or the use of their information for targeted advertising, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning the consumer.
• Portability or Copies
• In certain circumstances, you may have the right to ask us to transfer your information to another organization or to you in an accessible format.
• Restriction of Processing
• In certain circumstances, you may have the right to restrict how we process your information.

We will respond to your request in line with any deadlines imposed by law. Wooga will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Before we comply with any request from you, we may ask for information, documents, or other evidence from you to confirm your identity. If you are unable to provide us with the evidence we require, we may be unable to comply with your request. We operate on this basis to prevent fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise adverse disclosure, deletion, or other activity in relation to your information. Some jurisdictions allow you to submit your request through an authorized agent acting on your behalf. We may require agents to provide verification that they are acting on your behalf.

In the United States, there are various ways to submit an opt-out request. For detail, please review the section above called Opting Out Of Tailored Advertising. Depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to submit an opt-out request via the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. The GPC signal is honored only at the device level.
